Terrance Roy,

aka Tee Roy the artist

is a multi-media self-taught artist who lives and works in Atlanta, GA. A native of St. Louis, MO, his creations reflect his complex views on the world around him as he interacts with it.

Bold colors, striking bodies positioned beautifully, contrasting and harmonious compositions are what he strives to create with a variety of mediums including charcoal, acrylic paint, oil paint, and ink on canvas and other surfaces as he sees fit. As the artist explains,”I am a story teller aiming to spark conversation along a visual journey”.

As a kid growing up in St. Louis and as an adult serving in the military, he witnessed many evils in the world. Now as a firefighter, he witnesses more wickedness in the community he serves. His creations are a get away from the darkness in the world. His art is a way of communicating about what he has seen and an attempt to ask questions to be answered by the viewers of his work.
